Two members of the Israeli ethnic ensemble, Talya G.A Solan and Gilad Ephrat, join the pianist Stefano Maurizi from Florence and the percussionist Paolo Cimmino from Naples. |

The International quartet
performs original and traditional material from the Mediterranean
region, the Balkans, Bulgaria, Israel and Italy.
The artists' country of origins, their style and their musical
influences are expressed in a multicolored, rich and graceful
dialogue.
The premiere of the international ensemble took place on
December 2006 at the Goldoni Theater in Florence.
The connection between the classic and the commoner, Eastern/Western,
innovation and tradition produces a unique, fascinating
and original sound, organic and natural as if the four artists
have known each other from days of old.
The members of the ensemble are working on a record that
will be their first album in which they will also host additional
artists from Italy and Israel. |
